
American, 19th century Barber Pole. Retaining it's original red and white paint. This barber pole also still has the original iron brackets that once secured it to the outside shop wall. One of the best we have owned. Wonderful "alagator" surface a true early piece of folk art that would make a great addition to any folk art collection. Ht 32, 22 width from wall, Diameter 9 1/2.
Four feet high sitting African American folk art carved man. Two piece construction lower torso joined to the body. Late 19th century, possible early 20th century. Jacob Weber (1772-1865), Fivepointville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, painted pine dresser box, the lid and top with tulips on a yellow ground, the front with a brick house, trees, and lawn supported by bracket feet, 4 1/2" h., 7" w. A similar example sold at the Shelly sale for 110K. Excellent condition, original feet and hardware.

Noah's Ark. Ht 12 1/2 inches, 220+ animals and people all pairs. Excellent condition. 95 percent of the animals retain their original paint. ca 1860-1890. Origin has been debated for years. Some experts believe all the ark's were made in Germany for the American market. This ark comes from a long time toy collector. Regardless of origin it truly is a top notch folk art piece worthy for any collector. These large ark's are rare especially this type. Folk Art carved American Eagle holding a shield. This eagle has a 56 inch wing span - Its height is 16 inches. His head stretches out to approx 12in. This eagle was purchased from a collection in NH. It was made the first/second quarter of the 20th century. This eagle shows great pride and displays wonderfully on any wall. It is unusual to find eagles where the head is not turned to the side. This adds a three dimensional look. A wonderful piece of Folk Art and Americana. Excellent condition no cracks or repairs and maintains original paint. ~SOLD~

Rare 19th century whirligig, Carved African American man. This whirligig was found at a sugar mill down south. It has the original 19th century clothes, and is in working order. It was bought over 25 years ago at a Sotheby's auction from a long time folk art collection. Truly a wonderful piece of folk art in excellent working condition. ~SOLD~
