Boston Sandwich candlestick in excellent condition. Free of all cracks and chips.  You usually find these sticks with damage along the base or below petals but this one is free from all damage. Also, it has a darker starch blue socket attached to dolphin clambroth base.  You normally see a lighter shade of the starch blue.  Two piece construction and an iconic piece of Sandwich glass.
Ht 10 1/2 inches.  $1100- Enjoy!

Rare - American, Blown molded wasted loop cologne bottle in rare size and color. The bottle is peacock blue/green with matching stopper.  Largest size; D 4 1/2 Ht 8 inches, condition is good; there is a chip to the top of the stopper and chips to the bottom insert of the stopper.  The chips on the bottom side of stopper are not noticeable when the stopper is placed in the bottle. Note: In are years of collecting this is the first opportunity we had to buy the largest example in this color.  They do not come up often. Inquiry for price.


Boston Sandwich Honey Amber Loop Whale Oil Lamp. Ht 10 1/2 w/ burner.  There have only been a few of these to hit the open market within the last 5 years.  We had the privilege of owning two of them.   Excellent condition and no damage. This lamp is extremely rare color to obtain and very desirable among collectors.  This lamp is the one that sold in the Levine sale for 8K.  Great provenance and was on display for many years in the Sandwich Museum.

19th Century Boston Sandwich, Cobalt Blue, Three Printie Whale Oil Lamp. Ht 10 1/2 with burner.  A perfect pair matching in color and in height.  Great condition.  One lamp has a small 1/8th chip to the block base, very minor. The other one is perfect.

American, 19th Century; Bulls Eye and Ring Whale oil lamp.  Rare in this fiery color.   Ex. Elsholtz.  ~ON HOLD~

American, 19th Century; Pair of extremely rare peacock blue arch vases. 11 ½ in height. Beautiful peacock color.  Excellent condition. Probably New England.  We have never seen this type of vase in this color. One of our personal favorites.  ~SOLD~

19th Century Boston Sandwich Peacock Blue Green paneled vase.  Ht 11 1/2 inch.  Pristine condition.  Extremely rare to find not only in color but this pattern in vase form.  We have had this mold before but for whale oil lamps.  Note the special detail in the rim.  Great color! This vase was found by a long time New England glass collector. ~SOLD~

American, 19th century Canary colored, Ashburton pattern, Heavy Bar Lip Bottle w/ speed pour; Attributed to Boston Sandwich or Pittsburgh.  This bottle is in excellent condition, and rare.   The Metropolitan Museum of Art has two of these bottles on display as well as the Sandwich Glass museum.  A must have for any pressed bottle collector. Very Rare, pair of Electric Blue Boston Sandwich petal and loop candlesticks. Ht 7 inches.  Excellent condition.  Condition: A small 3/4 of inch chip to bottom base.  Roughness under two petals and a small 1/8 chip to top of one petal, very minor.  Otherwise excellent condition. Pairs very seldom come up let alone in this fabulous color. Boston Sandwich Tulip Vase.  Iconic New England vase which is becoming very hard to obtain these days. Wonderful Amethyst color.  Some roughness to one spot of the underside of base but otherwise great condition. Ref; Barlow& Kaiser for other examples.  Ht-10inches. ~SOLD~

American, 19th century saphire blue with an amethyst tone back bar bottle. Attributed to Boston Sandwich.  The sandwich museum has an identical example in a canary color.  Wonderful condition.  ~SOLD~ 

American, 19th century Plum AMETHYST colored, Ashburton pattern, Heavy Bar Lip Bottle; Attributed to Boston Sandwich or Pittsburgh.  This bottle is in excellent condition, and extremely rare.  Retaining left over traces of the original guild stating "Brandy".   Great for any museum or serious collector.  Ht 10 ¼   ~SOLD~

American, 19th century canary colored flute bar bottle.  This bottle is in good condition.  Has some roughness along the bottom side otherwise condition is good.  This bottle is most often attributed to Boston Sandwich but Pittsburgh is a possibility. ht 11 1/4.  ~SOLD~

Boston Sandwich Petal and Column Base Whale Oil Lamp. Ht. 12 3/4, Font 5in, Base 4 1/4.  Near Mint condition. Clambroth color, font and base joined by a wafer. This came from a Boston collection.  This lamp would look nice on a period piece of furniture.  ~SOLD~

Peacock Green Trumpet Vase; while the amethyst, blues and even emerald are obtainable this one is the first we have seen in this color.  Extremely rare color.  Polished pontil, probably Boston Sandwich. 7 ½ in, excellent condition.   ~SOLD~

Possibly Sandwich, Pittsburgh, or South Jersey Looped Electric Blue Vase.  A lot of American glass factories made this style of vase so we are unsure of exact regional attribution.  This form is typically seen in American pieces. This vase stands 8 1/2 inches in height and is in a breathtaken electric blue color.  The looping's were done by a very skilled gaffer and are perfectly controlled.  The vase it attached by a tooled knop stem joined to a disk foot.  This piece is in great condition no chips or cracks.  One of a kind piece in a color that is not often seen. ~SOLD~

Boston Sandwich "Bigler Pattern" Whale Oil Lamp. Excellent condition with some roughness to base edges.  Ht 10 3/4. This lamp is in a beautiful sapphire blue coloration and is a very desirable pattern.  Becoming very hard to obtain. ~SOLD~

Pair Vasaline loop vases with gauffered rims round bases and hexagonal stem. 10 1/4 in high x 4 1/2 in dia. base. Barlow-Kaiser plate 3026.  It's very diffcult to find matching pairs these days.  Wonderful vasaline color, excellent condition tallest example.

Boston Sandwich Three Printie Whale Oil Lamp. Ht 8 1/8, Dark Olive Green.  This lamp was from a long time New England collection of early lighting.  Bought on the Cape 30 some years ago.  To find this color and form is very difficult in whale oils, and extremely rare.  Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, normal wear to bottom of base.  Belongs in a very serious early lighting collection.   Take advantage of this rare opportunity to own such a great colored lamp.  ~SOLD~


Extremely  Rare Cobalt Blue Pressed Four-Printie Block Pattern Glass Vase, Boston & Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 1840-60, with gauffered rim and hexagonal base, ht. 11 3/4 in.

Literature: This vase is similar to one illustrated in The Glass Industry in Sandwich Vol. 1-5 by Raymond E. Barlow and Joan Kaiser, Barlow Kaiser Publishing Company, Inc. Windham, New Hampshire, in conjunction with Schiffer Publishing Ltd., Atglen, Pennsylvania, plate 3037a. ~SOLD~

Boston Sandwich, Extremely rare, Peacock Blue w/ a touch of emerald green to it candlestick. ca. 1835.  Excellent condition.  H"7 1/4, two piece joined by waffer. This is the best example one can ever want for a early candlestick. One of the most desirable colors for a early lighting collector.  To top the color, this piece is near proof!  Free of chips, cracks, and even flea bites.  Minor roughness around base endges, common to find. Don't sleep on this one, folks they do not come up often. ~SOLD~

Three Printie Boston Sandwich light blue whale oil lamp.  10inch excellent condition.  Same one pictured in the Raymond Barlow Book.  Has original sticker on base.  This is a very desirable color and pattern to obtain. Excellent condition.   Ex. Raymond Barlow ~SOLD~

American, Amethyst Arch Vase 11 ½ in. Beautiful dark amethyst color, often found in lighter blues and canary.  Tallest example, excellent condition. Probably New England. ~SOLD~

Very Rare Pressed Twisted Loop Vase , Boston & Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 1840-50. Amethyst vase with gauffered rim, round base and hexagonal stem. 9 1/2 in. high x 5 1/4 in. dia. Barlow-Kaiser plate 3027.  This is one of the rarest type of vases to acquire.  Excellent condition, lovely color and great form.  ~SOLD~

Blown Molded Oval Hobnail Cologne with Flower Stopper Height 6 1/2 x 3 Dia 1845-1870, This cologne is the exact one that Barlow used as his example in his book a guide to Sandwich glass.  Only the examples he used in his books had such a sticker labeled "The glass industry in Sandwich". See A Guide to Sandwich Glass, example 3120. Conditon chip to one of the hobnails see damage in the acutual photo depicted in Barlow guide ( left side halfway up), some guild wear, and underside chip to flower stopper.  Great piece, ex. Corset Cologne Bottle, Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, Massachusetts. 1860-1888. corseted forms, Brilliant Plum Amethyst 4 3/4 inches.  The color in this piece is wonderful.  Such a dark plum amethyst.  If you collect colognes and color sandwich this is a piece that you will not be disapointed in.  ~SOLD~

Six Blue Latticinio Stripper Lamp, Attributed to NY or Boston Sandwich. Five blue strippers are more common then the six. A similar example sold at Green Valley for 3400.00.  A must have for any lamp collector and a very hard to obtain example.  Beautiful color and in excellent condition.  Don't sleep on this one.  Ref; Thuro Glass Keorsene lamps pg 56 plate K. ~SOLD~

Toy Minature Candlesticks and Flat Irons, Boston & Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 1840-60, Condition is great on both candlsticks, The amethyst candlestick we believe to be from the Elholz collection. Two great colors bottle green, smoke and amethyst.  These minatures are very hard to come by and are very much desirable by collectors. ~SOLD~

Peacock Blue Whale Oil Lamp. Extremely rare, last one we know to come to auction was in the Elsholtz sales.  10 ¼ in.  This is the most desired colored of all the early lighting colors.  Find another.  Excellent condition.  Truly remarkable and breathtaking. ~SOLD~

Pr. Whale Oil Lamps. Font joined to pressed base by a 3 piece waffer.  Nice stepped base.  There are some base chips to each lamp.  These oil lamps could of been made anywhere can not attribute to one specific glass house.  A fan engraving can be found on each lamp.  ~SOLD~

Pair of Plum Amethyst Tulip Vases, very rare and in excellent condition.  It is very hard to acquire tulip vases today let alone a pair.  Attributed to the Boston Sandwich. ca. 1835. Blown Three Mold Toilet Bottle, Spriral Ribbing, Type 2.  Mint condition, they attribute this piece to Sandwich because of finds dug at the factory.  ca. 1820-1840 Reference pg 240 no.2, American Glass Volume1 and 2 by Weathervane.  We have two of these items.                      ~SOLD~

Pair of Sapphire Blue Candlesticks, Boston & Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 1840-60, ht. 9 3/4 in. Condition is great, mold underfill on top of one candlestick, small chip under base to the other one.  Rarely found in this size a great color.  Largest example that sandwich made. Pair of Yellow Pressed Four-Printie Block Glass Fluid Lamps, Boston & Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 1840-50, on a pressed hexagonal standard and base, with pewter collar and camphene burners,  ht. 12 7/8 in.
